Swimming and Water Safety Teacher – Gap Training

Overview

As of December 2023, the SISSS00132 Swimming and Water Safety Teacher Skillset has superseded and replaced the SISSS00112 Skillset. As part of the changes, two specific units were introduced as prerequisites for specialisation courses, such as Infant & Toddler Teacher and Teacher for Diverse Abilities. To support those who already hold earlier versions of the Swimming and Water Safety Teacher Skillset, Belgravia Academy offers flexible gap training to help swim teachers gain the pre-requisite units before enrolling in the specialisation courses listed above.

This Gap training alone, will not equip you to be a Swimming and Water Safety Teacher.

• SISCAQU024: Teach water familiarisation, buoyancy, and mobility skills
• SISCAQU025: Teach water safety and survival skills
