Aquatic Training Courses

SISSS00131 – Aquatic Technical Operator: The Aquatic Technical Operator course equips industry professionals with the essential skills and knowledge to supervise and manage an aquatic facility as a certified pool operator. Participants will learn how to monitor and maintain pool water quality, operate plant equipment, manage risks, and develop effective maintenance schedules and procedures. (Training.gov.au)

Lifeguard Training

SISSS00133 – Pool Lifeguard: This course equips you with the knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of a swimming pool lifeguard, supervise participant safety in aquatic facilities, and manage water-based rescues and emergencies. Upon successful completion, you will receive a skill set statement of attainment, with credits towards the SIS30122 Certificate III in Sport, Aquatics, and Recreation. Swimming pool lifeguards are required to complete an annual Pool Lifeguard certification to maintain up-to-date skills and ensure they are prepared to respond to water-based emergencies.(Training.gov.au)
